Create fun at your next party.  Below are recipes to alcoholic cocktails.  A huge list describing the ingredients you will need to mix a great drink.  This blog also offers a few suggestions to help you get ready for your next big bash.

Squeezing fresh fruit juice makes an ordinary cocktail extraordinary.  Fresh fruit juice adds a huge amount of flavor to any cocktail and your company will appreciate all the effort you put into preparing a fun and exciting bar area.  Prepping fresh fruit juices, stocking up on club, tonic, seltzer, cola and sprite will allow you to make the cocktails listed on this blog.  Also preparing wedges of fruit and cherries saves a huge amount of time while adding additional flavor.  Of course you will need to stock up on vodka, gin, rum and whiskey.  Plan ahead, prepare your bar station and make sure you have a whole lot of ice.  Placing a blender to the side of your bar area will let your guest have fun creating frozen cocktail too.  Drinks on the rocks, straight up or frozen offers your guests many different choices.  Enjoy.

 Bay Breeze:  1 1/2 oz. vodka, 2 oz. pineapple juice and 2 oz. cranberry juice - add a pineapple wedge.

Bellini:  1 1/2 oz. white peach puree and 4 oz. sparkling wine - add an orange wedge or orange half moon.





Bloody Mary:  1 shot vodka, 6 oz. tomato juice, 1/2 teaspoon prepared grated horseradish, 10 drops of Tabasco, 20 drops of Worcestershire sauce -  add a stalk of celery, a jumbo shrimp, lemon/lime wedge and if your daring add celery salt to the rim of the glass.  Bloody Marys are fun.


Cape Cod:  1 shot vodka and cranberry juice.

Champagne Cocktail:  1 sugar cube, 2 dashes bitters, 6 oz. sparkling wine or champagne - add a twist.
Instructions:  In a champagne flute pour bitters over the sugar cube, pour in sparkling wine or champagne and add a twist.
 

Cosmopolitan:  1 1/2 vodka, 1/2 shot triple sec, 1/4 oz. lemon juice and 1 oz. cranberry juice - add a lime wedge.


Cuba Libre:  1 1/2 rum and top with cola - add lime wedge and squeeze a bit of lime on top.


Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri:   1 1/2 oz. rum, 3 oz. strawberry puree, 2 oz. simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar), 1 1/2 oz. lime juice and ice.  Mix in a blender.  Add fresh strawberries to the rim.


Frozen Pina Colada:  1 1/2 oz. rum, 1 1/2 pineapple juice, 1 1/2 oz. pina colada mix and ice - add a lime wedge, orange wedge or a fresh pineapple wedge.


Gimlet:  2 shots gin or vodka, 1 oz. lime juice and 1/3 oz. fresh lime juice - add a lime wedge.


Gibson:  3 shots of gin or vodka and 1/4 oz. dry vermouth - add two cocktail onions.


Kamikaze:  1 shot of vodka, 1 shot of triple sec and lime juice - add a lime wedge.


Long Island Iced Tea:  1/4 oz. vodka, 1/4 oz. gin, 1/4 oz. rum, 1/4 oz. tequila, 1/4 oz. triple sec, 1/8 oz. lemon juice, 1/8 oz. lime juice, 1/8 oz. simple syrup and a splash of cola - add a lemon wedge.


Madras:  1 1/2 oz. vodka, 1 1/2 oz. orange juice and 1 1/2 oz. cranberry juice - add a cherry or two.


Manhattan:   2 shots whiskey, 1 shot sweet vermouth - add a cherry.  Manhattans are great straight up or on the rocks.


Margarita:   1 oz. shot tequila, 1/2 oz. shot triple sec, 1/8 oz. lemon juice, 1/8 lime juice and 1/2 oz. simple syrup - add a lime wedge to the rim.

Martini:  2 shots gin, splash dry vermouth - add olives or cocktail onions.  Great straight up or on the rocks.

Mojito:  3 to 4 mint leafs, splash lime juice and sugar at the bottom of the glass.  Muddle ingredients together, add ice and 1 shot of rum.  Stir everything together leaving ingredients in the bottom of the glass and then add club soda.  Add a couple more mint leafs and add a lime wedge on rim of glass.  This is a great drink.

Old Fashioned Classic:  2 oz. Maker's Mark, 1/2 oz. simple syrup, 1 dash bitters and splash of club soda - add orange half moon wrapped around a cherry.

Screwdriver:  1 1/2 oz. vodka and orange juice - add orange half moon to rim of glass.

Sea Breeze:  1 1/2 vodka, 1 1/2 oz. grapefruit juice and 1 1/2 oz. cranberry juice - add wedge of grapefruit.


Sex on the Beach:  1 1/4 oz. vodka, 3/4 oz. peach schnapps, 1 1/2 oz. orange juice and 1 1/2 oz. cranberry juice - add orange half moon wrapped around a cherry.

Vodka Sour:  1 1/2 oz. vodka, 3/4 oz. lemon juice and 1 oz. simple syrup - add ice and shake hard for ten seconds.

Tequila Sunrise:  1 1/2 oz. tequila, 3 oz. orange juice and 1/2 oz. grenadine - add orange half moon.  Instructions:  In a highball glass add grenadine then ice, in a shaker add tequila and orange juice, shake and strain over the grenadine and ice.


Tom Collins:  1 1/2 oz. gin, 3/4 oz. lemon juice, 1 oz. simple syrup and add club soda to top of glass - add orange half moon wrapped around a cherry.

Vodka Collins:  add vodka instead of gin.
John Collins:  add bourbon instead of gin.

  1. Hello! Someimes tasting the real and natural flavor of the drinks is just enough, like when we talk about aged drinks, like tequila amor mío where if you mix them, you ruin them!
